A personal need as the starting point.
This project comes from my interest in learning Japanese. The idea is to keep study sessions small, separate new material from reviews, and make progress visible.
Behind the screen.
Review deliberately
The native C++ engine uses FSRS-5 to schedule spaced repetition. The interface is built with React Native and TypeScript.
Separate responsibilities
Study rules, data access and the interface have distinct boundaries: changing a screen should not change how a review is scheduled.
